Lot of questions arise watching ISS 2008.
1)Don't the judges seem to be too generous with marks?
2) Why are the judges not pointing out the mistakes and correcting the contestants as clearly as Sharath used to do in the 2007 version?
3)If the current crop of singers are really so good to acquire 80+ marks from the initaial round itself, where were they during the 2007 version?
4) Does not ISS 2008 appear to be too dull in comparison with the 2007 version? Without Renjini, Sharath the show seems to handicapped! Deprived of essential ingredients, should I say? The current anchors and judges don't have any mesmerising effects. Ouseppachan is a nice man, but the others on the judging panel are nowhere near calling good!

Judgement is very generic .In-depth judgement is lacking. Also, they constantly keep one tamil-speaking judge in the judging panel(without taking into account the judge's level of competency to judge). This is to attract more people and to increase the viewership of the programme in Tamilnadu and get more SMS from there also and in turn MORE MONEY for the channel. What a business tactic!
