The best female singer out there is Vani. She is very beautiful. She sccomplished this all her fields. Singing, dancing, education. she is an MBBS student. who else did that. Jaya surya said she will taken away by a director soon

I think I have to disagree on this. I am going with Amritha Suresh. She is only 16 and look how great she sings. Se may ot be as good looking as Vani, she is very pretty. Its mazing the way she sings too. I hope she wins the flat.
If you look at head to head competition she got more marks in singing than Vani. Only thing she dont have is MBBS

Durga is the best in my mind and millions of others out there watching idea star singer.
I hope everyone know this computer science student won the kerala tel critics award for best female singer award for her song in "Nandanam"

I agree with Jayan. She has done more than 200 stage programs. Even Yesudas had given her prize. The only people who are not hearing all this are the judges. Judges please listen, Durga is more knowledgable than you all 3 combined

I feel Amritha Suresh sings great especially the high notes. She is also very pretty, down to earth but extremely professional in her appearance and behavior, whilst she is just 16. She is the best amongst the five and she is improving day by day.
Please do not drag Vani's MBBS for a comparison because MBBS may make a good doctor and not a good singer. However, I don't discount Vani as a singer, actor or her efforts and intelligence in achieving where she is today. Well done Vani, I hope even you will admit, Amritha is a slightly more talented singer than you.

I agree completely with what Bambat wrote. MBBS should not be a factor to be weighed in comparing Vani with Amritha who is highly talented and Just a plus two student. Both Vani and Amritha are very graceful singers. But Amritha is more of a young, born talent set to improve upon each of her performance.
Congratulations Amritha, you deserve to win the flat.

I have to disagree with bombat, a singer should shine in every arena. They should be an allrounder. Vani got the good looks, she is fair, She got MBBS, she sings well, she got a great smile, great vinayam.

A singer should excel in singing. Jack of all trades cannot be a great singer. Vani may be a good stage performer, but Amritha is a perfect talent to be a playback singer.
MBBS! Singing! they should be mutually exclusive. Yesudas/Chithra/Lata/Asha all are great singers, none of them are doctors or engineers.

Ofcourse the best female singer DURGA VISWANATH...exceptional talent..and the public choose their best female singer..that is DURGA VISWANATH
Amrutha stood 2nd then Teenu & Binnetha are 3rd and 4th..
Cannot count VANI as great singer...she is just avarage singer...
