Dhidhi went first today. She had very good things to say about Durga. She started with saying Durga did an excellent job. Then the usual stamp with rombam nannayiriukkunnu. really brilliant singer.

MG sreekumar said nannayirikkunnu and very good. I dont think he himself does not know how to sing the ghazal. he admitted that the other day when Najim sang. So taody I dont think he wanted to maek a fool of himself

Sharaths comments today were deplorable. He started by saying he expected to Durga to sing better. andhe is disappointed. Thhis is not fair. This is the same guy who cried when Najim performed. Now a great ghazal by Durga is out down by the man. His other comments were. Durgan should not sing like this. i am talking from my heart. you need to improve

Today the show experienced unprecednt fight between dhedi and sharath. It was Dhidi actually started the comments today. She was saying great things about Durga. Just what she said about Najim. she also said it brought tears to her eye.
When it was sharath's turn he went for the attack.
I think Dhidhi was upset at sharath. she started being sweet to sharath saying he is the best ghazal singer out there. This is a big para from dhidi.
Poor sharath was in 7th heaven. then she made the point Durga sang great

I think that she looked very beautiful in her blue and white churidhar. the jwelery she worn today matched her dress. She snag a very difficult ghazal with very ease

those two buggers sarath and MG is trying very hard to let durga down and bring up Najim..dont know why they should do.. but everyone who watches the programme knows that fact..i bet my fortune that non of them can sing as good as durga can...and when Najim made a mistake MG supported him and for the same mistake when came from Amrutha's side he was the one who was blaming first...im talking about the part chorus was suppose to sing... two of the three judges are really trying the level best to mask a talent... i have only one thing to tell.. the audience know who is the reall winner and we should support her... way to go Durga

I'm a funk and jazz singer from singapore and I must say, when my mother first started watching Idea star Singer, i thought this was just a soso Malayalee version of American idol. How wrong i was...
although my fav was the blind singer intially because of his positive attitude, my heart leant towards sunni and durga. Sunni, let this be said, has dappang-gutthe'd his way to the hearts of all Indians, be they village people or Mallu's in Singapore, US and UK. I'm a Christian and I truly felt God's presence when he sang the Hindu devotionals. When he got kicked out, he gave that impassioned speech and touched the judges feet and I tell you, only a stone hearted person would not feel compassion for a poor village boy trying to make his dreams heard. Looking at the video of his thatched house and guru, compared to the brick houses the other contestants have, you can tell that Idea Star Singer was all he had. When he took that DVD player and walked out of the Asianet stage, my heart really broke.
However, the person who i feel never quite got a fair deal though is Durga. Having participated in Singapore Idol, I know how hard it is when you are a strong singer, judges want to knock you off your pedestal and the public just takes your abilities for granted, nitpicking at things like your clothes or eyebrows.
Durga ALWAYS brought 110% to every show and even though I'm not classically trained, she never went off key even in the toughest times...out of breath yes but never compromising the song. I know for a fact that this girl has an old school talent with a voice that India should send for WORLD IDOL. She'll beat the American and UK Idols flat with her devotionals. Dressed as an old woman, when she sang the Murugan devotional, my non-indian friends were shocked to hear such a powerful and seasoned voice coming from a live singer who has no reverb or other technical additions to make her sound better. In that small framed skinny girl is a voice that can move the world. She deserves to be a recording artist and playback singer more than any of the other contestants. Let's give credit where its due and hand it to this girl DURGA VISWANATH...never once lashing out at Judges who tore apart her flawless performances.
Last night, she looked like a star just walking out on the stage...so cool and comfortable. DURGA, step out from the shadow and claim what is rightfully yours. Find the right musicians to back you and prove all the naysayers wrong. If i ever see Durga i'll tell her my voice is nothing compared to hers.

Durga always, took very tough song and justice to that song. She never got deserved marks comparitively other contestants.
She is the best singer ISS 2007, better than Najim. Najim favoured by Sharat and MG.
